LOOK AGAIN

Take a closer look at the new Paul Smith Eyewear collection of sunglasses and optical frames,
focusing on detail, craft and quality.

Building on Paul’s well-known quote, “you can find inspiration in everything and if you can’t look again”, the newly re-launched Paul Smith Eyewear collection mixes exceptional materials with distinctive design details that are characteristic of Paul Smith’s work.

Handcrafted in the Italian Dolomites, the new frame designs make use of exceptional components such as beautiful Italian acetates, sourced from Mazzucchelli 1849, and robust five-barrel hinges with durable Akulon coated screws.

The collection includes a variety of unisex designs that include colourful acetate and refined metal frames. Each frame has been given the name of a London street beginning with the letter A, to signify this as a fresh start for Paul Smith Eyewear.

The Arnold (above) is a new contemporary style with a fine metal frame. It features a striking pointed nose bridge and comes in two distinctive optical sizes to suit different face shapes and one sunglass size.

In contrast, the Anderson (above) is a substantial frame shape made from acetate that is designed to stand out. It is available in a range of strong seasonal colours, which allows the wearer to show their personality through bold colour choice.

The new designs reward close inspection, as subtle elements of Paul Smith branding have been encoded within the frame design.

A custom metal core wire is etched with a tonal Paul Smith stripe, while a unique temple shape mirrors the ‘P’ of the Paul Smith logo, as does an inlaid gold ‘P’ in the temple tip. This ‘P’ detail is also echoed in the custom nose pad shape.
